The Xi (Extra Insulated) Insulated Foundation Wall System
Great Lakes Superior Walls manufactures the Xi (extra insulated) Wall System, which provides 2.5 inches of insulation for superior warmth and energy efficiency.
Hollow Core
Great Lakes Superior Walls is an exclusive producer of Hollow Core wall panels that are precast, prestressed units with excellent fire resistance, increased durability, and reduced self-weight.
Hollow Core allows for a fully functional living space underneath your garage floor.
Retaining Walls
If you need rigid walls for supporting soil, Great Lakes Superior Walls can help! We build retaining walls using a mid-size landscape block—a block that is small enough to handle without heavy equipment but functional enough to lean back in an aesthetic way that enhances your landscape and property.
And, because the block steps back one inch on every course, curved walls are easy to create. The mid-size landscape block is large enough for the most demanding job yet small enough to be handled with light-duty equipment!
Poured Walls
When it comes to building a house, a well-built, trustworthy concrete foundation is a must.
Great Lakes Superior Walls also offers poured walls, a type of foundation wall that is built by pouring wet concrete into aluminum forms. Typical poured walls are six to ten inches thick.
Poured walls are ideal for structures that don’t necessarily need insulation like pole barns, garages, or poured-in-place foundations like crawl spaces.

Flatwork
Flatwork can be described as any horizontal flat concrete surface.
In addition to basement and garage floors, the Great Lakes Superior Walls team are experts at making the outside of your home both functional and beautiful. The experience of our flatwork foremen and their concrete contracting crews includes pouring small patios, walkways, sidewalks, large slabs, lengthy driveways, and complex curved or creatively angled stairways. They are also trained in colored concrete, a striking option that will earn you impressed glances from your neighbors.
