The Ui (Uninsulated) Precast Concrete Wall System
The Ui Wall precast concrete system bring many exciting features for selective builders and homeowners looking for non-insulated foundation applications like garage wall panels.
Great Lakes Superior Walls offers the Ui Wall System specially designed for garage and porch foundations. These uninsulated, 4 feet high, precast foundation wall panels offer superior results!
- When used in conjunction with the Xi Wall System, a home’s entire foundation can be installed in less than a day.
- For parts of a home that do not require insulating, such as the areas below a garage or porch, the Ui Wall is a low-cost alternative product to poured concrete or concrete blocks.
- The Ui Wall, which is L-shaped for added stability, is 10 ¼ inches wide at the bottom and f4 to 6 inches wide at the top. The solid concrete wall is ideal for shorter foundation areas of the home, such as under a garage or porch.
The Xi (Extra Insulated) Insulated Foundation Wall System
Great Lakes Superior Walls manufactures the Xi (extra insulated) Wall System which provides 2.5 inches of insulation for superior warmth and energy efficiency.
Nearly everything is insulated in the Xi Wall System of precast concrete foundation panels including corners, studs, and bond beams.
- The Xi Wall’s unique design makes it thermally isolated and insulated from exterior elements, yielding significant home energy savings.
- The precast concrete wall panels are monolithically poured (poured all at once) with high-strength concrete for solid structural integrity and reinforced with steel rebar and polypropylene fibers.
- The Xi Wall’s special high-strength, low-water concrete mix also requires no additional damp-proofing, benefiting from technology developed for the original Superior Walls precast concrete system.

Hollow Core
Great Lakes Superior Walls is an exclusive producer of Hollow Core wall panels that are precast, prestressed units with excellent fire resistance, increased durability, and reduced self-weight.

Retaining Wall
If you need rigid walls for supporting soil, Great Lakes Superior Walls can help! We build retaining walls using a mid-size landscape bock—a block that is small enough to handle without heavy equipment but functional enough to lean back in an aesthetic way that enhances your landscape and property. And, because the block steps back one inch on every course, curved walls are easy to create. The mid-size landscape bock is large enough for the most demanding job yet small enough to be handled with light-duty equipment!
Poured Walls
When it comes to building a house, a well-built, trustworthy concrete foundation is a must.
Great Lakes Superior Walls also offers poured walls, a type of foundation wall that is built by pouring wet concrete into aluminum forms. Typical poured walls are six to ten inches thick.
Poured walls are ideal for structures that don’t necessarily need insulation like pole barns, garages, or poured-in-place foundations like crawl spaces.

Flatwork can be described as any horizontal flat concrete surface.
