Software Developer

We’re looking for a full-time Software Developer at Superior Edge Software. You’ll play a crucial role in developing and enhancing the software that drives our business operations. This role goes beyond coding. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design innovative solutions, optimize system performance, and deliver user-friendly experiences. We’re seeking a problem-solver who excels in a dynamic environment and is passionate about developing technology that drives efficiency and growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, code, test, and maintain software applications to meet business requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues within core system software.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize system functionality and user experience.
- Translate technical specifications into detailed programming logic.
- Assess the impact of changes across interconnected programs and systems.
- Analyze and correct performance deficiencies in existing applications.
- Develop and maintain clear programming documentation and technical instructions.
- Create and enhance user interfaces for improved usability.
- Provide technical support and guidance to internal users.
- Ability to modify and generate system reports.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field) or a minimum five (5) years of professional software development experience.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages, including VB.NET, SQL, C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
- Angular experience is a plus
- Advanced competency in programming logic and advanced coding principles.
- Proven capability in implementing and troubleshooting programming changes and modifications.
Additional Skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to write clear technical documentation and instructions.
- Quick learner with adaptability to new systems, products, and applications.
- Expertise in the Microsoft Office Suite and its software applications.
